Facing onto Place de la Contrescarpe, this snug Irish pub is brimming with energy and vitality. The interior is small and curves around a central bar with an alcove at the back. There's live sports coverage and, along one wall, Shuffleboard, a game similar to curling but played on a long, wooden table. The best seats are found outside in front of the bar. Here, the buzz radiating from around the fountain in the square is palpable and it's these spots that are snapped up first.
