Overview
Rue Crémieux is a picturesque pedestrian street in the 12th arrondissement of Paris, located near Gare de Lyon. It links rue de Bercy to rue de Lyon. It used to be a small workers' housing estate in the 19th Century; created in 1857, and it still has the aspect of it. It is composed of about 40 small houses, which, at the time, didn't have more than three floors. Some of them today have one or two more floors. Since 1993, the street is pedestrian only and the pavement has been recovered with cobblestones. Old-like street lamps reinforce the picturesque aspect of the street. At number 8, a slab indicates the water level during Seine's flood in 1910. For more information, call +33 8 3668 3112.
