Overview
Tape Bar is a local hangout. It s too relaxed for the extreme emo punks and goths that hang around the Bastille neighborhood. Young people between the ages of 20 and 30 come to Tape Bar to have a drink during happy hour or to enjoy a rock or electronic DJ set later on during the night. The walls are painted red and plastered with posters and a few messages scrawled here and there by customers. On the first Sunday of every month, Tape Bar opens early at 3p for Record Me Tape, an event to exchange, buy, sell and discuss vinyl records. - Betsy Mikel
