This theater was originally established in Paris' 18th arrondissement in 1910. When it was was bought by André Dahl and Roger Ferréol in 1922, the two men couldn't come up with a name for the new theater, so they called it "The Two Asses." Through the years it has welcomed a variety of shows, focusing predominantly on comedic productions, cabaret acts, and singers.
