This theater inhabits a building that was once an old cabaret in the 14th arrondissement of Paris. Théâtre Rive Gauche was created in in 1986, and is dedicated to both to the elucidation of contemporary playwrights, and to the exposition of new forms of theatrical performance. Each season director Alain Mallet composes a diverse program that includes comedic acts, drama, and children's shows. The theater seats 350 people.
