Overview
The most romantic of all the local châteaux has the same simple rectangular layout as the others, but completely transformed by the addition of pepperpot towers, a balustrade, stain-glass windows and sculpted decorations. These fantasy additions give it the irresistible charm of a fairy-tale castle. Some of the rooms inside the building, now used as the Launaguet town hall, feature original 19th-century furniture, paintings and magnificent sculpted ceilings. They open onto the château park, which is very well kept, and has picnic tables and games for children.
