Berlin is hardly short of pizzerias, but fewer come finer than +39. Located directly opposite Viktoriapark, and a stone's throw away from the towering Kreuzberg memorial, visitors are able to enjoy invigorating surroundings as well as attentive service and delicious food. The restaurant's interior is sleek and coolly minimalistic, and the service warm and attentive. The pizzas are hugely generous in size, with nicely crisp crusts and innovative toppings, such as Delicata, an exquisite blend of gorgonzola, spiced salami and pineapple. Pasta lovers are also well served with a range of mouthwatering dishes such as homemade gnocchi. It is apt that the restaurant is named after Italy's international dialing code, for a meal at +39 transports you directly to the heart of the peninsula with its fresh and enticing Mediterranean flavors. -Thomas Miodrag
