Airbase Alt-Daber, Berlin

Airbase Alt-Daber - Berlin, Germany
Airbase Alt-Daber
Flugplatz, Wittstock, Germany 16909 Map

This Alt-Daber used to be a East German Airbase which was occupied by Soviets until the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989, when they went back to Moscow. Since then, the place has been mostly unattended to, except for the occasional drag races which can take place in the large open area. Also there is an annual festival called the Full Moon Festival which happens here as well. All the abandoned buildings give this place a ghostly feel.
