Located in the historic center of the city, this is one of the prettiest flea markets in town. The market contains a broad selection of stalls full of books, clothes, antiques, souvenirs and other trinkets. But visitors should be on guard, for while there may be the occasional bargains, many of the vendors can't resist overcharging unwitting tourists.
- Venue Description:
History bears testimony to the fact that Berlin was and continues to be an extremely influential European city. This politically charged and culturally rich city is filled with incredible opportunities for the wide-eyed, camera-wielding tourists. While on one hand, historical monuments like the Brandenburger Tor and Reichstag capture the imagination and transport visitors to the post-war era, modern marvels like the Fernsehturm and Postdamer Platz are a proof of the country's progressive economy. And when a city has three opera houses, over 150 theaters, almost 170 museums and more than 200 private galleries, you can be rest assured that there will never be a single dull moment!
