Café Savo, Berlin

The decor in the small Café Savo is reminiscent of the fifties. There is a coffee mill and an espresso machine in glittering chrome, a dark red counter with small metal tables and a floor covered with intentionally broken tiles. The tables are lined up against the bare yellow walls. Even though the Goltzstraße is not considered that fashionable any more, the locals don't really care. They stop by to eat breakfast or read the paper, to eat cake in the afternoon or to drink a cocktail at night. This is a lovely quiet place for an undisturbed chat. The venue is open daily from 10 a.m.
