Freies Neukölln is one of the classic bars on Weserstrasse. While everybody seems to be moving there lately and a lot of new places open up almost weekly, this simple but beautiful bar keeps it real. Moreover, you'll find two big spaces, a smoker's and a non-smoker area. The staff is friendly, but don't expect them to be overwhelmingly friendly. The prices are relatively cheap though and it is the perfect place to gather a lot of people, as they have huge tables and a not too intimate atmosphere. - John Luas
