This museum is located in the former home of Georg Kolbe, who is considered by many to be one of the greatest sculptors of the early twentieth century. His works draw heavily on the natural human form, while later sculptures were influenced by Nazi ideology. The museum contains over 200 sculptures and 1,500 sketches, as well as his original sculpting equipment, furniture and other personal effects.
