Overview
Haus des Rundfunks (House of Broadcasting) is one of the most ancient radio broadcasting houses of the world. The building was designed in 1929 by Hans Poelzig and was inaugurated in 1933. It was one of the first buildings in Europe that was fully devoted to broadcasting air waves. The structure of the house is such that the three main broadcasting rooms are guarded from the hustle and bustle of the city streets. Haus des Rundfunks sends out radio waves to stations like Kultr radio, radioBerlin and Inforadio.
