Overview
The Museum of East Asian Art is divided into three different sections for China, Japan and Korea and is now merged with the Museum of Indian art and it now operates under the name of Museum of Asian Art. Each section displays a wide selection of arts, crafts and archaeological discoveries dating back to the early Stone Age. The treasures on view include ancient bronzes, early ceramics, jade works from ancient China, wood cuts (mainly from Japan) as well as a Japanese tea room built by Japanese carpenters. The video room and computer terminals are open to the public.
