AOL Travel Editor’s Review
Eating at a height of 207m above Berlin in its iconic Fernsehturm, or TV tower, has to count as an essential Berlin travel experience. The restaurant occupies a whole deck of the building and rotates, so that after half an hour you’ll have seen the entire city from above. The menu tries to provide something for everyone, and includes various international dishes such as couscous or Argentinian steak, but is best for German favorites that are typically served with delicious red cabbage and often available as good-value daily specials. Soups are good, too. Reservations are recommended at peak times, and remember to allow time for the elevator ride up the tower—which costs an extra €10.50.
