At the beginning of the 60s, the theatre was located in the Workers' Welfare Association building, where it was forced to present socio-critical theatre in the tradition of Brecht and Ödön von Horváth. However, in 1981 they acquired a stage of their own in the district of Charlottenburg and this is where the modern dance theatre we see today was born. Avant garde and contemporary dance theatre and a smattering of international stars and promising young talent make for a lively and interesting show.
