Öz Samsun, Berlin

Öz Samsun serves up high quality, decently priced Turkish food in the heart of Neukoelln. The ubiquitous doner and durum doner are, of course, available here, and they are a cut above the average. But, the menu reveals an assortment of other Turkish foods, from grilled vegetables, to real Turkish kebabs which come on a plate rather than in bread. The decor is simple and comfortable, and the staff are friendly and keen to exercise their English. While they don't have the cheapest prices in town, for the quality of the food, they represent very good value. -Justin Davies
