Overview
The former Schlosskirche's entrance is located between the inner courtyard of the University's main building and the Koblenz Gate. It was built in the French style of Louis XVI. Two partly damaged bells from 1779 can be seen right in front of the entrance. During the Second World War, the church was removed and was first rebuilt on its original site in 1994. Today, the former Schlosskirche functions as the Evangelical university church. Concerts also take place here from time to time when there is no service being held.
