Cosy, rustic and with rather good size meals for a French restaurant - one visits this French restaurant not only for the selection of fine food, but for the substantial portions of hearty country fare. As Monsieur Delaporte is alone at the stove, it's not a bad idea to have a little snack before arriving at the restaurant, as somewhat longer waiting times are more often than not incurred! But you will be well compensated by Delaporte with a delicious stew or coq au vin at a reasonable price. The high quality of this restaurant is renowned throughout Cologne, so we recommend you make a reservation. Parking is available upon request, in the restaurant's underground carpark - a luxury in the Belgian Quarter, where parking tickets are all too common.
