Rosebud, Cologne

One of Cologne's best cocktail bars can be found in a side street just off of Zülpicher Straße. The Rosebud offers not only comfort and classy décor, but excellent drinks, as well. Despite the location in the student quarter, don't expect to get away on the cheap. Count on paying (EUR 7.50-10) for your Caipirinha or Mojito, two of the most popular drinks in town. The people who come here aren't put off by the high prices -on the contrary. The clientele consists mainly of media-types and prominent faces, but also 'normalos' with plenty of disposable income. People tend to get dressed up to go out here, but 'stylishly-casual' is also fine. The bar is exclusive enough that on weekends only club-members are admitted. to give you some idea.
