A very pleasant café and cake shop right by the Blauer Wunder, Café Toscana is a great place to stop for a coffee and a bite to eat after a walk along the River Elbe. The café is extremely popular with Dresdeners on account of its wonderful position and exquisite cakes and pastries, and visitors would be well advised to try two of the local specialities - baumkuchen and stollen. The interior is fairly traditional and a touch on the conservative side, as indeed is the clientele.
