Aalschokker, Dusseldorf

Those who do not necessarily earn enough to live like a king, might also enjoy the delicious creations of highly regarded star chef Claude Bourgueil. He has opened a smaller (and considerably less expensive) branch of his exclusive ship-restaurant (Im Schiffchen). In Aalschokker's maritime ambience, one might choose a lightly smoked 'Lake Constance Char a la Heinrich Heine' to start. Followed by the Munsterlander Taubchen, served with Savoy cabbage and a peppered sauce. For dessert, the 'Rumpot' in Printen herbs is a very wise choice. A seven course menu with a corresponding bottle of wine is available. Wine by the glass is also served.
