This two-story Renaissance house originates from 1582 and used to be the property of the Gremp von Freudenstein aristocratic family. Situated next-door to the church, the house was considered the most important secular building in the village of Bockenheim. The park behind the Gremp'sches Haus contains a classical country house, built by Frankfurt architect Friedrich Christian Hess in 1829.
