Ahrberg, Hamburg

Located directly on the Strandweg in Blankenese, the Ahrberg has a great view of the river Elbe. It is an exquisite spot for a high-class meal either before or after a walk along the Elbe. The Ahrberg belongs to the upper price category restaurants. A visit is a bit like traveling back in time to the days of teak, gramophones and wall clocks. Mixed customers enjoy their visit here and dine amidst stylish antiques and old-fashioned decoration. In good weather, you can dine outside or on one of the three sheltered terraces. There is traditional Hanseatic cuisine, especially for fans of fish dishes and so called 'plain cooking', but the menu also offers a fine choice of international dishes.
