Overview
The Alsterpavillon is now run by the Alex chain and boasts folding glass walls, ten open-plan kitchens and space for concerts, exhibitions and functions for up to 800 people. The original pavilion was built in 1799 and has always been popular with day-trippers, shoppers and sun worshipers. Located opposite Jungfernstieg shopping street, this is a great place to stop by for a coffee, beer or any other cocktail. There are wonderful views over Lake Alster which are fantastic.
