Overview
You cannot help but feel a tad nostalgic whilst viewing the dolls' houses with their miniature utensils, delicate velvet clothing and accessories. The exhibition includes more than 300 dolls as well as about 60 dolls' houses, kitchens and shops, all painstakingly furnished in keeping with the styles dating from the 18th Century to the 1950s. This collection took over three decades to compile! A visit to the museum can be combined with a walk in the beautiful Falkenstein area, and also doubles up as an art and photography gallery, hosting fine art exhibitions through most of the year.
