Elke Dröscher has presented concrete art in her showrooms since 1968, both radical paintings and sculptures, as well as vintage photography. She started off in the Magdalenenstraße area, but her gallery can now be found in a building near the Falkenstein banks which has been put under a preservation order. Elke Dröscher renovated the former ruin herself, and today it is all bright and shiny again. In front of the country house, a park and a panoramic view of the river Elbe are inviting places to take a walk. Inside the building, paintings and sculptures from the 20th century, as well as a collection of puppets await the visitors. Since 1991, Elke Dröscher has also run a showroom with a photography exhibition in the Galeriehaus at Admiralitätstraße 71.
