- Venue Description:
This old-school private theater is situated at a 3 minute walking distance from Altona station. Catering to a slightly older audience, the theater stages classic productions which are faithful to the original. But since the reopening in 1995, modern plays and comedies can also be found in the program. The establishment is fitted with facilities for the disabled, among them an infra-red system for the hard of hearing. The dead poets' society on Sundays is a special event: Members of the theater company read from the works of their favorite (dead) poets. The entry fees go towards a foundation for the support of successful future authors.
