Café Niederegger, Lubeck

The café Niederegger is situated directly opposite the Town Hall on Breite Straße. It is an institution which is famous for its marzipan all over the world. Be it for breakfast, lunch or at tea time, the café is a popular location for a lot of people. For some people the two floors seem to be too square or old-fashioned, but that's exactly what the café´s interior is like, and the majority of people appreciate that. The menu has something for everybody's taste, breakfast, a daily varied lunch special and the excellent home-made cakes and gateaus. On Sundays you can also have brunch here. In case you can´t stop for a meal, you can take away some delicious home-made ice-cream.
