Overview
There is a playground on the small green peninsula between Mühlenteich and Kanal-Trave which is particularly suitable for small children. The somewhat secluded location is peppered with tall old trees and offers many traditional playthings for children of up to maybe eight years on its lawns. Among these are swings, climbing-frames, a climbing-tower and see-saws. Apart from a giant sand-pit, an inviting shallow water basin is the main attraction in the summer months. The water inside the large brick-framed basin is changed several times a week. Also on the premises is a public toilet.
