The interior of this Italian restaurant speaks volumes for the cooking - traditional and provincial, it pays little attention to current trends. The regional Italian food is an attempt to break the monotony of the German obsession with pizza and pasta. Having said that, the pastas are excellent, but any of the outstanding meat or fish dishes are highly recommended and there is a particularly good range of the latter. Add a bottle from their own wine cellar and the evening is perfect. The Italian hospitality and service are so accommodating you tend to forget you're actually just a guest.
