Overview

Wildpark Poing is a privately-run wildlife park and is a good alternative to Tierpark Hellabrunn, particularly in good weather. A variety of wildlife roam this 50 hectares of land, which offers them a  natural habitat. You would find wild deers, stags, roes and rams as well as beasts of prey (in a separate enclosure) like foxes, polecats, martens and even lynx. Farm animals such as ponies, sheep and goats can be fed by the children, although you are not recommended to bring your own feed, as appropriate animal fodder is for sale. The birds of prey exhibition demonstrating hunting and flying techniques is particularly worth seeing. For more information about the park check the website.
