Café Kröll, Nuremberg

Tourists and locals flock to the Cafe Kröll to relax over a coffee and cake. There are enough seats to accommodate up to 300 guests. The regular crowd are Nuremberg's senior citizens, who love to come here to catch up on the latest news and enjoy a traditional breakfast. There is no shortage of choice: many different blends of coffee, homemade cakes and even divine chocolates. A traditional atmosphere presides and table service is by authentically-dressed waitresses.The outside balcony on the first floor is perfect for watching the goings on at the Hauptmarkt. There is not full access for wheelchairs as part of the cafe is situated on the first floor.The decor is reminiscient of a typical Viennese Cafe. There are lots of chandeliers, velvet-covered seats and plush carpets. A light lunch is also served at the most palatable of prices.
