Overview

Museum of the Ancient Agora in Stoa of Attalos, is a beautiful place to take a peek and find out a little more of ancient Athens. Agora was a trading and civic center of Athens, and also the birth place of Greek democracy, found in 1931 and this place continues to be excavated till today. The Museum of the Ancient Agora is where all the artifacts from these excavations are placed. These include pottery, coins, inscriptions, sculptures, and much more. And something that you must see is, the beautiful Byzantine and Turkish period designs. These one-of-a-kind and mystical treasures are definitely worth a look.
