Nana Cinema, Athens

The Nana cinema is a traditional Athenian cinema, which has been modernized successfully, and now offers a very different and more Greek experience from the many multiplexes which have opened in the city. It has a cafe, an ice cream bar,  and (during school holidays and weekend matinées) there is a special area for children to draw and play while they wait for the show to start. The cinema has six screens, shows many movies in 3D, and has free parking available in a lot behind the cinema on Imbrou Street. Check their website for opening hours and program but generally open weekdays from around 5p and weekends from around 11a.
