Paramithoxora, Athens

Paramithoxora (Greek for "Land of Fairy Tales") is housed in a neoclassical building in the Mets district of Athens. The whole building has been lovingly and imaginatively transformed into a theater and workshop for children from three upwards. During the winter, there are elaborate and almost magical puppet theater performances every weekend. And while the shows are aimed specifically at children, the sets are so enchanting and the stories so well and humorously told that parents will find themselves enjoying them just as much as their offspring.
