A fresh vegetarian restaurant, this is a lunch-time favourite and offers an excellent banquet service. Situated in an unassuming new building in the city centre, facing the Austurvöllur and the tiny Cathedral, standing between Skólabrú and Hótel Borg, Salatbarinn nevertheless manages to hold its own, thanks to its novel approach to vegetarian food.
