Trattoria Gigina, close to the historic center, is easily reached by car or public transport. It is run and operated by women which has a palpable effect on the atmosphere. The restaurant has been decorated in the manner of an "osteria" (inn). The first course dishes are classic homemade pasta recipes, such as tortellini in broth, gramigna with sausage, tagliatelle with ragù and passatelli in broth. The second course includes mixed boiled meats with a tomato and onion stew, tripe in sauce, pheasant, stewed rabbit. Various types of homemade desserts such as sweet fried cream, fior di latte and zuppa inglese. The wines on offer come mostly from the surrounding region.
