Overview
The church was first the worshipping place of the Company of Santa Maria delle Laudi and later the Company of the Poor which rebuilt the ancient church during the 17th Century. The 19th-century façade can be reached through the original 16th-century portico and, entering the church, you can see the painting Madonna dei Poveri attributed to Tiburzio Passarotti (1575-1612). There are also important panels on the walls painted by Francesco Gessi, Lucio Massari and Lionello Spada.
