This museum was created in 1882 when Clemente Papi was appointed professor of Veterinary Anatomy at the University of Bologna. He restored the first models collected by his predecessors and expanded the collection to 650 items by 1885. Now the museum has more than 2000 pieces in the new building of the Veterinary Department, mostly of horses and cattle. Can be reached by bus no. 90 from the rail station.
