Piccolo Cow-Boy, Bologna

Just a few minutes by car from the center of Bologna, the Piccolo Cow-Boy offers fresh fish dishes, regional pasta dishes, and excellent pizzas. The 90-seat restaurant is air-conditioned and has a large summer veranda for pleasant eating out when the weather warms up. Starters include shrimp cocktail, seafood salad, marinated anchovies, scampi. The first course consists of typical Bolognese pasta dishes and a selection of seafood based spaghetti dishes. There is a wide choice of pizzas including Pizza trevigiana, Pizza with mixed grilled vegetables, Pizza della casa, Pizza with salmon topping and Pizza gigante. A wonderful variety of seafood dishes make up the second course: Grilled Fish, Grilled Shellfish, Grilled Jumbo Shrimp, Skewered Mixed Seafood, Mussels in a tomato-based sauce and Mussels cooked in broth.
