The old Bitone restaurant is not far from the old town, on the old street that crosses Bologna that leads to the other large Emilian cities offering excellent home cooking together with great courteousness and hospitality. Having been redecorated several times, this famous restaurant has been managed by chef Cesare for over 20 years and he constantly revises his specialties without compromising on flavor or the genuineness of the dishes. Meals can be enjoyed in elegant, comfortable and well looked after surroundings. The dishes are based on fresh pasta, meat and excellent fish. We recommend the rice savarin with cheese and ham fondue, oven baked lasagna, chops alla bolognese, Supreme of guinea fowl en croute and for dessert, the tronchetto dell amore.
