Ristorante Matusel, Bologna

Situated inside the Palazzo Bianconcini, just 800 meters from the Piazza Maggiore, Bologna's conference facility (la fiera) and the Teatro Comunale, is the Ristorante Matusel. For 30 years, it was known an osteria, but today is has been completely architecturally and gastronomically renovated with a Sicilian-based menu (seafood) and a handful of traditional Bolognese dishes. The air-conditioned locale also features a lovely independent loft area for private dining or group meals with a capacity of 25-30 guests. There is also a small area in which you can take an aperitivo or an after-dinner drink.
