This coffee shop has probably one of the best views in Florence! The Brunelleschi dome is right there! The coffee shop is on top floor of a former and ancient nunnery that dates back to 1300. They serve hot and cold beverages, patisserie and sandwiches, but also host an interesting list of Italian white, red and sparkling wines also sold by the glass. Aperitif hour starts at 18:30 until 21:30 and, on Thursday night, live music from 22:00! Sometimes, on weekends, the Cafetteria organizes "theme dinners" featuring the cuisine of Italian regions or foreign countries. The building also separately houses the Biblioteca delle Oblate, a public library right in the center of town. Besides books, it offers international magazines and kids' books, games and films both in Italian and foreign language, as well as internet access points. -Maria Frullini
