Fortezza da Basso is a large venue, designed by Antonio da Sangallo the Younger, in the first half of the 16th Century at the request of Alessandro de' Medici. Many trade fairs and conferences are hosted here, most notably the Pitti Immagine and The Handicrafts Trade Fair. It features nine different rooms, each of which can be tailored to suit the individual needs of the client.
