Ristorante Lungarno, Florence

This exclusive restaurant inside the Hotel Lungarno offers good seafood and an incomparable view of the Ponte Vecchio. A very original atmosphere, echoing the design of a yacht club, with its staved wooden floors, white walls and tablecloths, refined silverware and panoramic windows looking out onto the banks of the river Arno. The food is based mainly on seafood. Among the starters are seafood soup, pasta with lobster sauce and la passatina di ceci alle code di scampi (chickpea soup with scampi). Then there is the sea-bass, turbot, mussels, fresh tuna pasta and steamed lobster. The wine list offers a good selection of national white wines.
