The Museo Archeologico dell'Antica Capua is a popular archaeology museum that houses an impressive collection dating back to the 11th Century BC. Archaeological excavations undertaken in the later half of the twentieth century brought several relics and artifacts into limelight, which reveal the past of the Capua region. In its twelve rooms, the museum houses a collection of artifacts belonging to the Bronze age, Iron age, the Etruscan civilization until the 9th century AD when the city saw its decline. Weapons, furniture, jewelry, tombs, vessels and several other exhibits form the collection at the Museo Archeologico dell'Antica Capua.
