From March to October every year, the charming town of Ravello puts on a chamber music festival of international importance at the Ravello Concert Society. Drawing famous performers from all around the World, the majority of the concerts takes place at the majestic Villa Rufolo, although various other villas, gardens, and hotels host shows as well. Wilhelm Wagner once stayed here and he said that the Villa's lush gardens were the inspiration for the second act of his famous work Parsifal. The stunning scenery of the dramatic Amalfi coastline and terraced hills set an almost mythical background, creating the perfect setting in which to experience some of the world's finest classical music.
