This is the kingdom of the Spigaroli dynasty who have run this restaurant on the banks of the Po since 1920. The restaurant is about 40 kilometres from Parma, in the heart of the Bassa. There is an elegant atmosphere and polite, professional service. There is a range of dishes such as pike in Farnese sauce, quail salad and goose liver, herbed pasta and pumpkin, mixed fried grill and cat fish. Desserts include ice cream, chocolate cake and home-made tarts. There is a good wine list.
