La Lampara is a restaurant on the dock at the Cattolica fishing port, the best known in the region. It is not one of the most refined ones, but is a place to find fresh, well prepared fish with an ample choice of dishes which can be enjoyed in a bright and peaceful Mediterranean seaside ambiance. In summer, you can sit on the bright, welcoming and elegant veranda from which you can enjoy an "impossible" sunset on the Adriatic through a strange geographic trick. Among the appetizers, the always very fresh oysters, raw Venus clams, very delicate spiny spider crabs, and gratín shellfish. Then spaghetti with clams, lobster, or shellfish, Tagliolini (noodles-those with the scent of the sea are very good, thin and delicate), fish Ravioli, and Risottos.
